Thank You

Thank you to the community for participating and taking notice of child abuse prevention month in April to Keep Kids Safe.  (Complete List of 2009 Supporters)

We had sold almost 3,000 blue pins/ribbons through out the community raising awareness to what people can do to help end child abuse.

Our family fun day was a huge success with over 200 people in attendance enjoying time with their families while learning about resources in the community.

Over 60 businesses, schools, or organizations participated in Keep Kids Safe Campaign.  There was everything from kids having “dress down” days, to employees wearing blue (national color for child abuse prevention) to raffles for pies, and preschoolers being taught about ways they can use their hands for good and not for violence or abuse.

“Keep Kids Safe Campaign is my favorite activity we do at CASA because it involves the whole community from children to adults.  And the goal is to get people thinking, talking about, and doing what they can to help end child abuse.”
