April 2nd Family Fun Day
Was held on April 2nd, 2011 from 12-3 in the Commons Area of Sullivan High School. Over 400 kids and families attended. Performances by: Babaloo, Sullivan Athletic Club (Karate), Planet Gymnastics, Salt ‘N’ Patter Puppets, and the Sullivan Dance Team. There were approximately 20 organizations that participated by setting up booths with fun games and prizes for the children while handing out information about services available to families in the area. We also had appearances by Massive Machine Monster Truck and Kona Ice with their sno-cones. CASA volunteers, board members, staff, family and friends showed their support by helping with the event as well as ECC student volunteers; without them the event wouldn’t have been a huge success!
