Interested in being a part of the Franklin County CASA family? 

 

 

Here are just a few volunteer opportunities at this time, but the options are endless!

 

 

  • Child Advocate- Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer and help a child through their journey in foster care.

  •  Administrative Assistant- Help in the office and answer phone calls, organize the office and resource materials, typing,

  •  Cleaning- Help once a week or once month with office cleaning, such as vacuuming, dusting, bathroom.

  • Recycling- Stop by once a week or once a month and pick up our paper, toner cartridges, and cans and bring them to the recycling center.

  •  Fundraising- Help organize a new fundraiser or chair an existing one.  Duties could include anything from solicitation donations, hanging flyers, setting up or tearing down decorations, greeting participants or taking registrations, designing the event program, or attending the event.

  •  Provide refreshments- Maybe you are a great cook and you would like to share your talent.  Make a batch of cookies for the next volunteer training session or board meeting, or offer to bring the drinks to the next CASA graduation.  On an average we are meeting or have an event that involves food or drinks.

  •  Scrapbooking- We have a CASA scrapbook that needs continual updating and we could use your help.

  •  Public Relations- Like talking to the public and attending community events?  Help promote CASA and work the CASA booth.

  •   Think about the skills you have such as accounting, grant writing, web design or maybe you are computer savvy and let’s talk.  We are confident we can help you help children of Franklin County.  Franklin County CASA is located in Union, MO but we have volunteer opportunities available throughout Franklin County.
