Nancy Redhage, president of the St. John's Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, presented the Mercy award to CASA.  She stated that Franklin County CASA follows the Spirit of Mercy "as volunteers of this organization look out for children who need help finding  their way in the world.  Those who need a voice are heard thanks to their compassionate volunteers who give unselfishly of their time."

Glenda Volmert, Executive director of CASA, accepted the award.  In addition, McLain presented her with a check for $10,000.00 from the hospital.
